PM Khan appoints Asad Umer as National Development Council member.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Asad Umer as a member of National Development Council on Wednesday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed former finance minister Asad Umer as member of National Development Council, created on June 18 comprising 13 members. National Development Council (NDC) was created to address economic challenges of Pakistan and to promote economic development of the country. It is headed by PM Imran Khan and comprises 13 members including Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Chief ministers of all provinces, PM of AJK, CM of Gilgat-Baltistan, Minister for Planning and Development, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Secretaries of PM Khan are members of NDC. Financial Advisor Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh will also be a part of the NDC.
