PML-N is ready to talk to the Army on one condition

Lahore, 12th November: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz in an interview to BBC Urdu tells that she is ready to talk to the army, provided this thing is done.
Baaghi TV: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that her party is ready to talk to the army and talks can be considered from the platform of the opposition coalition PDM but the condition is that the PTI government should be sent home.
Maryam Nawaz is currently in the region in connection with the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In an interview with the BBC, Maryam Nawaz claimed that the Establishment had contacted her close associates for talks.
“The establishment has contacted many people around me, but no one has contacted me directly,” she said.
Asked whether she was ready to hold talks with the current leadership of the Pakistan Army, Maryam Nawaz said, “The start of talks from the PDM platform could be considered provided the fake government is sent home.”
The vice president of the Muslim League said that the army is my institution, we will definitely talk, but within the scope of the constitution. I am not against the institution but I think this government will have to go home if we are to move forward.
Maryam Nawaz further clarified that she can talk to all stakeholders but when asked if she is ready to talk to the government, she said that dialogue is now with the people of Pakistan.
Maryam Nawaz said that the politics of PML-N is not going to a dead end. “I think the people who tried to make this artificial thing are going to the dead end. Wherever we are going, whether it is Gujranwala, Karachi, Quetta or Gilgit-Baltistan, the same statement echoes everywhere.”
Maryam Nawaz further added that to get this country out of the crisis, Imran Khan and the government will have to go home and new transparent elections will be held and a representative government of the people will come.
Talking about keeping the way open for reconciliation with PTI and other parties, she said, “In my view, Imran Khan and PTI are not a big issue because I do not consider them political people. My party and I are competing with the thinking that they represent, they represent everything that must be eradicated from Pakistan.”
