PML-Q’s Moonis Elahi given an important post in federal govt

Lahore, 13th July: Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has been appointed as the minister for water resources.

According to reports, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has been appointed as the next minister for water resources.

According to sources, the decision was announced on Tuesday following the promise by the PTI-led government to their allies. The promise included that the PML-Q will be given charge in a federal ministry soon.

Faisal Vawda in trouble following resignation from Assembly

Although a notification has not been issued yet, however, Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a go-ahead to the decision.

Earlier, the post for the Ministry of Water Resources was held by PTI minister Faisal Vawda. According to reports, in March, he resigned from the National Assembly to cast his vote in the Senate elections.
