According to the report of Baaghi TV, the hearing of the folk heritage corruption case in the accountability court in Islamabad was adjourned till August 24.

The case could not be heard due to the leave of NAB Prosecutor Sohail Arif. PPP leader Rubina Khalid and other accused accused of corruption in public heritage funds

NAB Rawalpindi had on July 1 last year filed a corruption reference against PPP leader Senator Rubina Khalid in the Islamabad Accountability Court.

The reference filed by the NAB said that Rs 30.13 million has been lost to the national exchequer due to the accused. The defendants are accused of abuse of power.

Along with Senator Rubina Khalid from NAB, Mazharul Islam, former executive director of Lok Virsa is also among the accused. Reference against him has been filed by Afshan Basharat, female investigating officer of NAB.

Rubina Khalid belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and she is a PPP senator.
