Popular Pakistani News Source Makes Major Blunder

LAHORE (17th Oct, 2019): Popular news source makes major blunder with titles of visiting British Royals as Prince William and Kate Middleton spend a day in Lahore.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the presence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has bedazzled leading news sources in Pakistan who are confusing them with Prince William’s younger brother, Prince Harry and his wife, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. As one of the top news channel of Pakistan Geo News has used the term “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex” for Prince William and Kate Middleton however, this is a major error on their part as Prince William and his wife are not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Be clear that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

According to details, on the fourth day of their five-day historic visit, the royal couple arrived in Lahore. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were welcomed by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar and Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Sarwar.

Reportedly, Prince William and Kate Middleton have visited the SOS village, National Cricket Academy (NCA), Badshahi Mosque (grand mosque of Lahore) and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital on their visit of Lahore, the city of Gardens.

SOS Village visit:

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited the SOS Village an organization that caters to the needs of orphans. Reportedly, they were given finger puppets to take part in a story telling session while there as well as wishing a happy birthday to some of the children who are currently under the care of the organization.

National Cricket Academy (NCA) visit:

Prince William and Kate Middleton also visited NCA in Lahore where the royal couple was welcomed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan and Chairman Ehsan Mani. The British royals also played cricket with the Pakistan players and local kids.

Badshahi Mosque visit:

Moreover, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also paid a visit to the historical grand mosque in Lahore, the Badshahi Mosque. During their visit, they reportedly part in an interfaith meeting within the mosque premises.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial visit:

Lastly, the royal couple also visited Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre situated in Lahore, which had been visited by Lady Diana prior to this, a year before she passed away.

The last stop in their itinerary was confirmed by the official Twitter account for the cancer hospital, where it was tweeted:
