The ‘Royal’ visit of Prince William and Kate Middleton to Pakistan is expected to take place between 14th to 18th October this year, as per the official Kensington Palace Twitter page announced on Friday.

The statement said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a special event at the Aga Khan Centre on 2nd October, hosted by His Highness The Aga Khan.”

The event falls ahead of TRH’s official visit to Pakistan, which will take place between 14th – 18th October, it added.

After 2006, the visit will be the first one to Pakistan by Royal Family members.

Earlier, Princess Diana visited Pakistan in 1991 in an eastern dressing and dupatta carried. Queen Elizabeth II herself visited Pakistan twice in 1961 and 1997.

Prince William is the eldest son of Prince of Wales; Charles and Dianna and second in the succession of British throne.
