Princess Basmah Bint Saud appeals for help from Saudi Crown Prince
London: Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s cousin Princess Basmah Bint Saud has been missing for the past year but where is she now and whose help has she asked?
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Saudi Crown Prince’s 56-year-old cousin Princess Basmah has been missing since March last year and now the European and American media has reported that she might have been kept under imprisonment by the Saudi Government.
After missing for a year and remaining silent, a message has now been issued by Princess Basma Bint Saud on social media in which she has appealed for help from the Saudi government.
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, 56-year-old Princess of the mysterious disappearance, in her tweet appealed to the Saudi Crown Prince to help her, claiming that the imprisonment had deteriorated her health.

According to the report, Saudi princess revealed in a tweet on her social website Twitter that she has been imprisoned in Lahir Jail, Saudi Arabia, where her health is deteriorating.
According to a British newspaper, in her short tweet, she appealed to Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman and King Shah Salman to look into her case and review it and allow her to exit and be medically treated. The tweet was deleted just hours after the Saudi princess tweeted, but the Saudi government has yet to respond.
It may be recalled that Princess Basmah bint Saud is the daughter of the eldest son of the founder of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman al-Saud. Princess Bisma Bint-e-Saud is the cousin of Prince Mohammed Salman and she was divorced a few years ago.
In November last year, the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) reported in reference to Princess Bisma that she was last seen in March 2019. Princess Basmah Saud who has been active in Saudi Arabia for human rights and better laws had been gone missing.
There is a strong possibility that Basmah Bint Saud, along with her young daughter, may have been locked up under Government’s order. It is unlikely that the top officials of the government would not have been aware of the disappearance of the Princess.
The report also said that Princess Basmah Bint Saud has been divorced some time ago, and there is a possibility that she may have been detained due to internal dispute over child custody and property inheritance.
