During the coronavirus outbreak, paramedic staff has performed their professional duties working with the federal and provincial governments, regardless of their own lives.
Apart from their professional obligation, they also participated in the social welfare duties under the Young Consultants Association Pakistan’s (YCAP) platform. Their social work included, managing the Personal protective equipment (PPE) and distributing the ration among the deserving ones.

In the times of this national crisis, the representative party of consultants was targeted on purpose with organised and strategic planning to ignite tussle between doctors and government. At a time when health emergency is enforced in the country, such step can only be taken by a traitor.
On the other hand, YCAP, in view of the seriousness of the situation, endured this repression and performed its professional duties with the same diligence. Slowly and gradually things became quite clear over time.
Coronavirus patients were refused to be admitted to Services Hospital. Although the hospital’s principal Dr. Mahmood Ayaz didn’t want them to be admitted, Provincial Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, intervened and got them admitted to the hospital.

At present, the head of YCAP has been expelled from work and thousands of consultants have been discouraged.
YCAP makes a strong appeal for justice, while the truth has come to light from Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff and Chief Justice Supreme Court. YCAP also demands that this suspicious role of Dr. Mahmood Ayaz should be exposed and strict actions should be taken against him.
