PSL 2020 schedule changed amid coronavirus concerns

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has changed the schedule of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 and changed the play-offs of the event to the semi-finals and finals.

According to the PCB, the schedule has been changed with the consent of all team owners. PSL 2020 has been restricted to four days and according to the new schedule, 33 matches will be played instead of 34.

According to the new schedule, both semi finals will be played on March 17 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The teams in the first and fourth position on points table will now compete in the semi-finals at 2 pm. On the other hand, match between the second and third positions will start at 7 pm.

However, the final of the event will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

PCB allows foreign players to leave PSL 2020 amid coronavirus fears

According to the PCB, they are in constant touch with Punjab government in this regard and the recommendation of local government will also be followed on the participation of the spectators. Therefore, a final announcement for the next four matches scheduled in Gaddafi Stadium will be made soon.

New Schedule of PSL

March 13: Peshawar Zalmi vs. Multan Sultans – National Stadium Karachi (7 pm)

March 14: Karachi Kings vs Islamabad United – National Stadium Karachi (7 pm)

March 15: Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore (2 pm) and Quetta Gladiators vs. Karachi Kings – National Stadium Karachi (7 pm)

March 17: First semi-final (Team 1 vs Team 4) – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore (2 pm) and Second semi-final (Team 2 vs Team 3) – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore (7 pm)

March 18: PSL Final – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore (7 pm)
