PTV’s popularity rises after airing Ertugrul Ghazi

Lahore, 9th May: Based on the history of Islamic conquests, the Turkish city-wide drama ‘Dirilis Ertugrul’, also known as Turkey’s ‘Game of Thrones’, has made a splash in Pakistan, breaking all records of popularity and becoming a top trend on Twitter and YouTube in Pakistan.
Baaghi TV: On the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Turkish drama “Ertugrul Ghazi” has been dubbed in Urdu and is being aired on Pakistan’s state television from the first of Ramadan. Not only has it gained popularity but it has become a favorite drama of Pakistanis.
People in Pakistan have become addicted to this drama. Social media is full of stories and admiration of the characters of the drama. Along with the common people, artists and many famous personalities also seem to be fascinated by this drama.

The drama is expected to be on top of the trend not only on YouTube and Twitter but also on Facebook and Tik Tok.
Broadcasting Turkish dramas have also boosted PTV’s popularity, with 40,000 new subscribers subscribing to PTV’s YouTube channel in a single day after its first episode aired, and in just a few days, it has gained over one million subscribers.

Pakistan Television (PTV) announced on its Twitter handler that after a million subscribers to PTV’s YouTube channel in just a few days, the hashtag Ertugrul YouTube record is on top trend on Twitter in Pakistan.
