Yesterday, a notification was issued by the Home Ministry regarding the holidays, according to which there will be a total of 14 public holidays in the year 2021, starting from Kashmir Day on February 5.
In the notification issued, at least 22 optional holidays have been announced for government employees. Muslim employees are allowed to take only one optional leave while non-Muslim will have three optional leave.

March 23 (Tuesday) – Pakistan Day
