Punjab government issues lockdown notification with following details

LAHORE, 25th April: The Punjab government has issued a lockdown notification for May 9 keeping in view the increasing toll of the coronavirus in the province. Reports received by Baaghi TV said that all markets, shopping malls, restaurants, government, and private offices will remain closed. The movement of people within the province and other cities will be restricted. The notification said that social, religious celebrations, festivals, sports festivals, gyms, and snooker clubs will be banned. The wedding halls, wedding ceremonies, educational institutions, schools, colleges, medical colleges, technical and vocational institutes, universities, tuition centers, religious seminaries, and exams will be banned. The Punjab government has stated in the lockdown notification till May 9 that government officers will be able to go to their offices, law enforcement agencies, and related agencies will be able to perform their duties. Employees will be able to go on duty. The notification said that retail and grocery stores will be allowed to operate from 9 am to 5 pm. The dairy shops will be opened for Sehri from 2 am to 4 am.
