Lahore, 21st May: The Punjab government has issued a notification to extend lockdown across the province till June 15 to control the spread of coronavirus.
According to the notification issued by the Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Punjab on Friday, the markets will be open till 8 pm and all business activities will be completely banned on Saturday and Sunday.
The notification issued said:
- From May 24, restaurants will be allowed outdoor dining.
- Outdoor weddings with a capacity of 150 people will be allowed from June 1.
- All shrines will remain completely closed.
- Offices will be allowed to work with 50% of staff.
- Inter-provincial transport will be completely closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Train service will continue with 70% passengers.
- The ban on wearing masks will remain.
It is to be noted that according to the latest data shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the number of coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours is 3070, and 102 deaths have been confirmed.
