After clothing brand, Maulana Tariq Jameel now launches free ambulance service

Lahore, 21st May: Pakistan’s renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has launched a free ambulance service in Pakistan.

According to reports, Maulana Tariq Jameel Foundation has launched a free ambulance service in the country in times of need.

Alongside pictures of MTJ visiting the recently purchased ambulances, the MTJ foundation took to their social media account on Instagram to thank the contributors who helped them buy these ambulances to help the needy.

Before this venture, Maulana also recently launched his clothing brand. He has explained that the reason behind these businesses is to run madressahas so they are no longer dependent on Zakat.

Maulana Tariq Jameel also shared via a video message on his social media account that in the year 2000, he established Madrasa tul Husnain, where students are provided with a complete education in the Arabic language. Even though today it has expanded to 10 branches, MTJ shared that this project was not easy to manage financially.

Maulana explained that despite the help of certain people, to run these religious schools, in 2020, with the outbreak of coronavirus, the business faced major losses which adversely affected the branches of Madrasa tul Husnain which had to be shut down by the government due to lack of finances.
