Qatar has reportedly agreed on certain aspects of managing Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan, according to reports.

Kabul International Airport, known to the world as Afghanistan’s gateway, has not been fully operational since the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. According to reports, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has agreed with the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and Turkey on important issues related to the management of the Kabul Airport.

A trilateral meeting between Turkey, Qatar, and the Taliban government was held in Doha yesterday, the ministry said. The Qatari Foreign Ministry said the trilateral delegation agreed on a number of key issues related to the management and operation of Kabul Airport. Meanwhile, Qatari officials did not provide further details.

The ministry said yesterday’s meeting was a continuation of previous talks. At this meeting, the three sides reached a preliminary agreement. The final round of talks is set to begin next week.
