India and Central Asian states meet, on Afghanistan #Baaghi

According to Baaghi TV reports, Indian and five Central Asian state leaders have agreed to set up measures to expand India’s Chabahar port claimed Reenat Sandhu of the Indian Foreign Service. 

The leaders have called for the establishment of a comprehensive and inclusive government within Afghanistan. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly chaired an online meeting of the leaders of Central Asian states including Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakstan, and Kyrgystan, respectively.

According to reports, the leaders agreed to set up a joint working group to address the ongoing humanitarian crises in Afghanistan and to discuss the matter of formal recognition of the Taliban government.

“There is a regional consensus in Afghanistan on the formation of a broad and inclusive government, the fight against terrorism and narcotics, and the protection of the rights of human beings, women and minorities,” the statement said.

Thereby, Reenat Sandhu an official at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs claimed, that India and the participating leaders from Central Asia are agreed on expanding the Chabahar port.
