Lahore, 11th April: Britain’s Queen has broken silence over her husband Prince Philip’s death.
According to reports, Queen Elizabeth II released her statement on Saturday after her husband passed away a day before at the age of 99.
UK’s Buckingham Palace released Queen’s official statement on its social media pages highlighting her husband’s role.
“He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I, and his whole family, and this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim, or we shall ever know.”

Sharing a candid portrait shot of both the Queen and Duke, the statement read, “He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I, and his whole family, and this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim, or we shall ever know.” -Her Majesty The Queen, 1997.”
It is pertinent to mention here that Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 99 on Friday, April 9. Both got married in 1947 and have 4 children.
