RAC Organizes Discussion on Quaid-e-Azam, Defense Day and the Urdu Language

Rawalpindi (9th Sept, 2019): Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) holds a discussion on Quaid-e-Azam, Defense Day, and Pakistan’s National language.
According to reports, the discussion was presided over by Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik alongside PTI Central Deputy Secretary Information Engineer, Iftikhar Chaudhry and Nawabzada Khushdi as guests of honour.
Reportedly, speakers at the event included Advocate Kokab Iqbal, Naeem Akram Qureshi, Tanvir Nusrat, Safi Rabbani, Ahmed Hatib Siddiqui, Zaheer Gillani, Mir Afsar Maan as well as Saeed Ahmed, Samina Riaz, Sheren Syed, Qamar Fatima, Lubna Faragh and others.
Sources have reported that Prof. Fateh Muhammad Malik during his address argued the need to impement Urdu language without constituting a committee for the purpose. The stance was reiterated by Advocate Kokab Iqbal who stated that Urdu apart from being Pakistan’s national language should be implemented in offices.
