The official video of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s song ‘Zaroori Tha’ has been viewed by over one billion people on YouTube, making it the most watched and liked song from Pakistan. While the number of viewers of the song is still increasing.

On social media site Instagram, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also shared a post expressing happiness over crossing the milestone and told the fans that his song “Zaroori Tha” has crossed a milestone.

It may be recalled that the song, which was released on June 8, 2014, was also included in the 2015 Indian film ‘Hamari Adhoori Kahani’.

The song sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was composed by Sahir Ali Bagga while it was written by renowned Pakistani poet and writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
