Rahat Fateh Ali’s two shows cancelled by Indian promoters
Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) asked the Indian promoters to cancel their shows with world renowned Rahat Fateh Ali Khan which were scheduled to be held in United States and Canada in October this year.
In the same way, an Indian artist was forced to cancel the show with Pakistani promoters.
Salman Ahmed, the producer and global promoter of Khan condemned the act of FWICE in a press statement. He said that he got disappointed on how an organization can threat and make shows cancel wasting the effort of hundreds of people involved in arranging the event.
He labelled such acts as ‘a universal crime’. He also revealed that the sentiments of audience and artist have been get hurt. Organizing a show costs an endless effort and money. “No one can and will stop the shows unless Allah wants to.”
He told that all shows will be held on time whether it is in Australia, Canada, United States, Oman, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
