Rain in Punjab: Incident of roof collapses in different cities, 15 people killed

According to the report of Baaghi TV, torrential rains have fallen in different parts of Punjab. The rains are likely to continue intermittently. 15 killed in roof collapse in Tandlianwala, Faisalabad and Kasur areas of Punjab.

The roof of a house collapsed due to rain near Tandlianwala, 7 members of the same family were killed and 5 others were injured in the accident. Rescue teams rushed them to the hospital for medical treatment after the roof collapsed.

Locals with their help pulled out the bodies and injured from the wreckage. Later, rescue team reached the spot.

The roof of a house in a village on the outskirts of Faisalabad district of Punjab also collapsed due to heavy rains. As a result, 3 people were killed and 4 others were injured. The dead included two sisters and a brother. In Multan and Pakpattan, two persons including a woman lost their lives due to falling roofs.

In different areas of Kasur, 3 roofs collapsed due to torrential rains, killing 3 people including 2 women.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has expressed regret over the loss of precious lives in rain-related accidents. He also directed to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
