Ramadan is a month of blessings, special attention be paid to worship: Allama Haqqani

Lahore (25th April, 2020): May Allah have mercy on us, this Ramadan is different from the previous Ramadans, in the first Ramadan Allah had opened the doors for us, now the doors are closed for us, these views were expressed by Maulana Abdul Shakoor Haqqani during Rehmat Hee Rehmat, Ramadan transmission.
Maulana Abdul Shakoor Haqqani said that we are not going to the mosque because of the coronavirus.
Maulana Abdul Shakoor Haqqani said that in the matters in which Allah Almighty has allowed us to break the fast, it is not a sin to break it, but will be rewarded for the whole fast. He said that women are commanded to break their fast on certain days. Our women with the spirit of goodness become sad when they miss their fast and think that they have been deprived of good deeds, rather they should understand that it is a concession from Allah Almighty. It is not a sin to leave the command of Allah, but Allah Almighty rewards for the whole.
Allama Syed Hasnain Reza Mousavi said that this is indeed the month of Allah’s blessings. “This month has come to us with two kinds of trials,” he said. One is that because of our sins and the other is that Allah wants to purify us through this test in order to raise our ranks. “The whole world is going through this,” he said. We should keep an eye on our deeds and follow the commands revealed by Allah.
In response to a question, Allama Abdul Shakur Haqqani said that Sehri is in fact a great message for us. We leave halal by the command of Allah but do not leave haraam, so we should refrain from haraam by the command of Allah. That is our training.
He said that the welcome of Ramadan is to make a promise to Allah that I will abstain from sins by the command of Allah and I will try to take the lead in good deeds.
Allama Syed Hasnain Raza Mousavi said that it is important for us that Allah Almighty has revealed the month of Ramadan for us. We must hold ourselves accountable for the sins we have committed and for which we have disregarded God’s commands. He said that we should do as many deeds as possible in this month which are pleasing to Allah Almighty. Give us self-reflection as well as your own calculation.
Maulana Abdul Shakoor Haqqani said that by fasting we will repent of our sins. This self-sacrifice prevents human beings from committing sins. Dieting makes a person miserable. We are giving up one month of sin by the command of Allah, then we can give up eleven months. “If a Muslim cannot reform himself this month, he can never reform himself,” he said.

Maulana Abdul Shakoor Haqqani said that we have the impression that some people fall asleep after fasting and this is not considered good. He said that this impression is not good. If he is asleep, he may be spared the sins he could have exercised if he remained awake. He said that Allah Almighty sees the truth of the heart of human beings, so we should not look at the number of one’s deeds, it has to do with Allah Almighty.
Allama Syed Hasnain Raza Mousavi said that in order to maintain the same condition after Ramadan, we should sincerely worship Allah and do other good deeds so that this process can continue.
