Rapists should be hanged in public: Waqar Zaka

Lahore, 10th September: Pakistan’s famous VJ and TV host Waqar Zaka has said that if no law is enacted to hang the rapist in public, we will turn to Islamabad.

According to a Baaghi TV report, a well-known social media activist Waqar Zaka has insisted in a video message that such rapists are “exempt” from the common law.

Addressing the recent incident of the rape of a woman on a motorway in front of her children, Waqar said that the rapists get easily escape.

He demanded that the government should make the strictest rules against them, and hang them in public.

“We are tired of giving the message,” he said. Now, if nothing is done, we will turn to Islamabad. Let’s see how this government survives”, he said.

It is to be noted that a very tragic incident of a gang rape of a woman on the motorway took place in Gujjarpura area of Lahore yesterday. Two men smashed a car window on the motorway and pulled the woman and her children out, then took them to nearby bushes and allegedly raped the woman in front of the children.
