Riaz Fatyana gets in trouble for false allegations against Zartaj Gul

Meanwhile, party sources have revealed that the situation has become very interesting now and the National Assembly member Riaz Fatyana is in quite a fix for falsely accusing Zartaj Gul. Moreover, it is also being said that due to Fatyana’s accusaations the party is being held accountable.

In this regard, it is further reported that the PTI Accountability and Discipline Committee has issued show cause notice to Riaz Fatyana. The PTI Standing Committee on Accountability and Discipline has sought clarification till December 4. He was also asked if attended the Glasgow Coupe 26 on behalf of an NGO during the month of November.

The committee asked Fatyana if he had continued to illegally request the Pakistani team to be part of the official delegation. and that his participation in the delegation had not been possible without the approval of the Prime Minister. He was also asked if he had requested vehicles from the delegation in Glasgow for his personal use.

The committee further said that Fatyana had also ordered a conference card and a mobile phone sim from the delegation. He was also told that when his demands were not met he made allegations against the government delegation on his return to Pakistan. The committee said that as a member of the Public Accounts Committee, he made other allegations including fights against the  government delegation and that the committee now demands evidence.

The committee asked that at his request the media reported that you alleged that Zartaj returned due to her fight against Malik Amin Aslam. This allegation of fighting is false itself as Zartaj Gul returned to Pakistan in order to attend a joint sitting of Parliament. A written reply has been sought from Riaz Fatyana till December 4 on the violation of discipline along with issuing of show cause notice.

It may be recalled that a few days ago, Riaz Fatyana’s accusation against PTI Federal Minister Zartaj Gul made Riaz Fatyana’s life miserable. PTI’s accountability and disciplinary committee has thus issued show cause notice to National Assembly member Riaz Fatyana.

It may be recalled that Riaz Fatyana, a member of PTI National Assembly and Public Accounts Committee, had recently told PAC that a fight broke out between Minister of State Zartaj Gul and Amin Aslam at a conference in Glasgow. Due to this fight between Zartaj Gul and Advisor to Prime Minister on climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam, she flew back home. Pakistan’s representation in Glasgow Conference was substandard due to incompetence of officials. The delegation from Nepal and other countries was not received by any officer from the Pakistan camp.

Chairman Committee Rana Tanveer Hussain said that millions of rupees from the national exchequer is lost due to incompetent officers furthermore, Rana Tanveer Hussain ordered the audit authorities to investigate and submit a report regarding the matter.
