WHO warns of 700,000 more COVID deaths in Europe by March

Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) show that over 1,500 new Corona virus cases have been reported including 20 deaths, in the last 24-hours.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, 1,502 positive cases have come forward with 20 death reported in the last 24-hours. Eighteen of which were in-hospital while 2 patients died at home. Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is reported at 16,912 as of 7th November.

It is to be noted that 34,400 tests have been conducted in the last 24-hours. Provincial statistics show Sindh conducted 10,330, Punjab conducted 12,194, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) conducted 4,284, Islamabad (ICT) conducted 6,496, Balochistan conducted 207, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) conducted 417, and Azad Kashmir (AJK) conducted 472 tests.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, 317,898 people have recovered so far across Pakistan. In addition to this, no patient is on ventilator in the AJK, GB and Balochistan regions. Meanwhile, 129 vents are occupied across Pakistan out of 1,857 ventilators allocated for patients of COVID-19.

According to provincial statistics released by the NCOC, a total of 341,753 cases have been detected with Sindh at 148,922,  Punjab at 106,208, KP at 40,285, ICT at 21,302, Balochistan at 16,041, AJK at 465 and GB at 4,343.

It is pertinent to note that the death toll has reached 6,943 across Pakistan. While provincial statistics show Sindh at 2,667 (2 deaths in-hospital, 1 death at home), Punjab at 2,399 (8 in-hospital deaths, 1 out of hospital),  KP at 1,288 (1 died in-hospital), ICT at 236 (5 died in-hospital), Balochistan at 153 (1 died in-hospital), GB at 93 (1 died in-hospital) and AJK at 107 (no deaths).

So far, 4,643,913 tests have been conducted since the outbreak spread across Pakistan. According to reports, 734 hospitals are providing COVID-19 facilities to 1,057 patients admitted across the country.
