Rise in Petroleum Prices Expected Soon

ISLAMABAD: As soon as the budget speech was over, the prices of petroleum products went up.

According to reports, the news of increase in prices of petroleum products by the government has saddened the citizens.

According to details, Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen while talking to a private TV channel said that the prices of oil in the world market have been continuously increasing, but the government of Pakistan did not increase the prices of petroleum products until now.

However, now the increase in prices has become inevitable. After the continuous rise in crude oil prices in the world market, now the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan will also have to be increased.

However, the finance minister did not say when the price hike would take place. According to sources, prices of petroleum products are likely to go up from July 1.
