Salman Khan receives another threat email
India: A 21-year-old man was arrested from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur on Sunday for sending an email threatening actor Salman Khan. The email that read ‘you will end up like Sidhu Moose Wala’, in reference to the murder of Punjabi singer last year, was sent to the actor’s office 2-3 days back.
The accused, identified as Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, was arrested by the Mumbai Police in a joint operation with the Rajasthan Police.
Bishnoi, a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village under the Luni police station in Jodhpur was on bail in a case under the Arms Act, the police said.
The complaint about the threat e-mail was recently lodged at the Bandra police station by one Prashant Gunjalkar, who, according to the police, frequently visits the Bandra-based residence of Salman Khan and runs an artist management company, PTI reported.
When Gunjalkar was present in Khan’s office in the Galaxy Apartment, he noticed an email had been received from the ID “Rohit Garg”.
The sender of the e-mail, written in Hindi, said: “Goldy Bhai (gangster Goldy Brar) wanted to talk to Salman Khan face-to-face to close the matter”, adding, “Agli baar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (You’ll see something shocking)”.
Earlier, the Mumbai Police had registered a case against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoiand Goldy Brar in connection with a threat e-mail to Salman Khan on March 18.
