Saudi airstrike martyrs nearly 3,500 Yemeni children since 2015
Baaghi TV: Yemen’s Al-Masira television network reports that the Yemeni Human Rights Center said on Monday that about 7,200 Yemeni children had been killed or wounded in the imposed war.
According to the details, a total of 3500 Yemeni children have been martyred in the bombardment of Saudi Arabia and allied forces in Yemen.
According to the news agency, a human rights group has said that when the Saudi-led military coalition started a devastating war against Yemen in 2015, since then 3468 children have lost their lives in the war.
The Human Rights Center quoted the Yemeni Ministry of Health and the country’s media as saying in a report that 91 percent of the dead were children who had lost their lives in the airstrikes.
It should be noted that a devastating war against Yemen was launched in March 2015 by several regional allies of the United States, Britain, Saudi Arabia and including several other Western countries, to crush a popular uprising in Yemen. On the other hand, the United Nations has expressed concern over the ongoing war in Yemen.
The United Nations has issued a stern warning against famine and malnutrition in Yemen and three African countries.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned of famine and starvation in Yemen, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, northeastern Nigeria and South Sudan. Antonio Guterres said that these countries are facing the biggest food crisis in the world. The UN Secretary-General criticized the inadequate allocation of aid to these countries, saying that they needed immediate assistance to solve their problems.
Meanwhile, the international aid agency Oxfam has warned in its report that famine and starvation have endangered the lives of many Yemenis and they are facing death threats this year.
