Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian government has announced that it will allow Hajj on a limited scale.

According to Arab media reports, the government of Saudi Arabia has announced to allow Hajj on a limited scale, no one will be able to come for Hajj from outside Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj says that in view of coronavirus, no one from abroad will be able to come for Hajj this year. Citizens residing in the country will be able to enjoy the blessings of Hajj.

According to the report, about 2.5 million people go from different countries to perform Hajj, but this year it will not be possible due to corona.

According to the report of Khaleej Times, this year’s Hajj will be with a very limited number of pilgrims, limited to ensuring the safety of the pilgrims.

The statement said that the decision was taken on the basis that the Hajj should be held in a safe and healthy environment. To meet the requirements of protection from Corona,to ensure the safety of the pilgrims, to maintain social distance and to fulfill the objectives of Islamic Sharia regarding the protection of human life.

The Saudi government, which receives the honor of serving the millions of children of Islam who perform the Hajj and Umrah each year, wants to reassure Muslims around the world that the decision was made in the spirit of the health and safety of visitors to the Holy Shrines.

The Ministry of Hajj ended its statement by praying that Allah Almighty would protect all the countries of the world from this plague and protect mankind from every calamity,Allah Almighty is Able to do all things.
