Saudi Foreign Minister Meets Prime Minister Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey and Malaysia met with Prime Minister Imran Khan, according to reports.

Bilateral relations and the situation in the region were discussed during the meetings.

According to details, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Ministers of Iran, Turkey and Malaysia also met the Prime Minister.

During the meeting with the Foreign Ministers of different countries, the long standing relations between the countries and the situation in the region including Afghanistan were discussed.

On the occasion, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan praised the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for raising his voice and taking action for the Muslims of the Islamic world, especially Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir and the Middle East.

It may be recalled that the 17th Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is being held at Parliament House, Islamabad, convened by Saudi Arabia while Pakistan is hosting the event.

Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that it was our religious responsibility to help Afghanistan and no other country in the world faced more problems than Afghanistan.
