KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued revised bank office timings for across the country, according to a notification issued today.
According to the details, all banks shall observe the new working hours from July 13 till further orders by the SBP.
According to the SBP notification, all banks will remain open from 9 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday, however, there will be a break from 1.30 pm to 2 pm from Monday to Thursday. Moreover, on Friday the lunch and prayer break will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
All banks will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday, as directed by the State Bank of Pakistan.
It may be recalled that the State Bank of Pakistan had changed the working hours of all banks due to the lock down situation of the country amid coronavirus pandemic.
