Spouse of Justice Qazi Faez Isa Files Details of her Property in FBR
ISLAMABAD, July 09 (Online Int’l): The spouse of Justice Qazi Faez Isa has filed details of her foreign properties in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in the light of Supreme Court (SC) 10-member bench decision.
According to details of offshore properties filed by her in FBR she had shown her three London-based properties in her last year tax return and money was sent to the foreign country legally to purchase these properties.
The record filed by the spouse of Justice Qazi Faez Isa in FBR contained details of income earned by her during her job in Karachi American School, details of property sold out in Karachi, record pertaining to property purchased in Karachi and tax paid on this property, details of bank accounts regarding dollars and pounds sent abroad, details of rent accrued from the London properties, details of agricultural land gifted by her father and details of agricultural land located in Dera Murad Jamali and Naseer Abad.
In the reply filed by the spouse of Justice Qazi Faez Isa in FBR , she has taken the plea that about 700,000 pounds were sent to a foreign country through a Standard Chartered Bank Account. Her husband has nothing to do with her property purchased in London.The details of all her bank transactions is available with the central bank.
