Lahore: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at US$ 24,853.2 million.
During the week ended 30-Jul-2021, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reserves increased by US$ 16 million to US$ 17,846.0 million.
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 24,853.2 million on 30-Jul-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan are US$ 17,846.0 million while
net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 7,007.2 million
Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at US$ 24,853.2 million.
On the other hand, sources said the official foreign exchange reserves are set to hit record highs in August with fresh inflows coming in under International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) newly approved Special Drawing Rights (SDR) allocations that would help cushion Covid shocks and bolster external position.
