Supreme Court orders refund of money from employees benefitting from the SERA Act 2010. The SERA Act was instated to offer relief to those in corporation service or autonomous or semi-autonomous bodies or in Government service who were dismissed, terminated, or removed. 

In light of the Supreme Court order to withdraw money from employees benefitting from the PIA SERA ACT, 2010, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has issued refund notices to all employees.

According to the PIA spokesperson, the refunds from employees will be received in two installments which they can deposit from September 30 to October 30.

The spokesman further said that all employees have received letters regarding the refunds.

It is to be noted that all those who benefitted from this act were paid crores of rupees, along with numerous other benefits.
