Lahore, 17th March: With the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan, some elite schools of the country are playing with the lives of students.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, two of the most prestigious schools of Pakistan are found disregarding the restrictions set by the government to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
It is to be noted that Lahore Grammar School (LGS) and Beaconhouse School in Lahore have been reportedly neglecting the government’s instructions and calling the students to take their exams despite the report of many positive cases among them.
In this regard a video is circulating on social media highlighting how these money minting schools are playing havoc with students lives putting them in danger.
It has come to notice that some of the students who have contracted the virus are being called by the school authorities to come and sit for their Mock exams or send-ups.
As per the recent announcement by Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas, the schools will only take the exams till the 19th of March and after that, they will shut down. Those not following the orders will be sealed.
However, students from LGS and Beaconhouse have come forward and alleged that despite the reports that some of their teachers and students have fallen victim to the coronavirus, the schools are adamant to hold the exams.
In a video, anonymous students from these prestigious schools can be seen disclosing that some of the teachers who have tested positive are reported to be invigilating their exams.
One of the students shared that she revealed her positive report with the school but the authorities forced her to take her examination.
As per reports, the children called 15 to get help from the police and filed their complaints.
