Lahore, 29th March: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood makes a new announcement regarding the Cambridge exams.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced on Monday that O-Level exams will now start from May 10 in Pakistan.

Mahmood took to his Twitter account and made the announcement earlier today:

The minister shared a letter received from Christine Ozden, the chief executive of the Cambridge Assessment International Education, requesting that O-Level exams should start from May 10 instead of May 15.

He wrote, “I had received a letter from Christine Ozden, CEO Cambridge requesting that O level/IGCSE exam should be allowed to start from May 10 instead of May 15. After consultation with provinces/stakeholders we have agreed. Now O level/IGCSE will start from May 10.”

It is to be noted that last Friday Federal Education Minister had tweeted that Cambridge has agreed to reschedule O-Level exams to May 15, however, A and As Level exams will take place as per the schedule.
