Shah Rukh Khan wears jacket designed by Faraz Manan in latest Diwali ad
Oct 25, 2021: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently starred in a Cadbury Diwali ad and where many were touched by the heartwarming message, Pakistanis are especially happy because his dress was by a Pakistani designer.
The ad was for Cadbury Celebrations and saw Khan, termed India’s biggest brand ambassador, become an ambassador for hundreds of small businesses. Cadbury used machine learning to recreate Khan’s voice and facial expressions to make it seem like he’s taking the names of local stores, thereby allowing hundreds of small businesses to have Shah Rukh Khan as their brand ambassador.
In the video, Khan Faraz Manan is wearing a white royal jacket, which is embroidered with flower shapes and geometric shapes.
Manan is no stranger to creating cross-border star costumes. He has already featured and groomed Kareena Kapoor in his campaigns – she modeled for his lawn line and walked the runway for her at the 2018 Masala Awards. In fact, cross-border fashion collaboration is very common, but we haven’t seen King Khan wearing anything Pakistani lately.
He is currently embroiled in legal trouble with his 23-year-old son, Aryan, who is in jail on a drug use and possession charge. After his bail was rejected several times by the lower courts, he approached the Bombay High Court for bail and a hearing has been fixed for October 26.
