Shahbaz Sharif withdrew his petition against leaving Pakistan

LAHORE: Opposition leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif has reportedly withdrawn his request to go abroad.
The application for implementation of the decision has been referred to the Lahore High Court.
According to party sources, on behalf of Shahbaz, his lawyers Azam Nazir Tarar and Amjad Pervez Advocate filed a petition, alleging that Shahbaz Sharif’s name was added to the Exit Control List (ECL) by the federal government. He wants to withdraw application due to his name in ECL.
In the petition, filed by Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyers Azam Nazir Tarar and Amjad Pervez Advocate, it has been submitted that the court has issued notices in the implementation case for May 26, but we do not want to follow the execution request, so the court should return the petition. Justice Ali Baqir Najafi will hear the case on May 24 at the request of Shahbaz Sharif.
It may be recalled that earlier the name of PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif was included in the ECL by the government against which the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly had approached the court.
