Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, told the reporters in Faisalabad that he had travelled to the city to express his condolences on the death of Abid Sher Ali’s wife.

Shahbaz Sharif remarked, “I’ve come for Fateha Khawani; I’m not here to talk politics; the country is going through a disaster; inflation has rendered people’s life indigestible; there is no such thing as governance in the country; load shedding.” Load shedding in the country was still going on under Nawaz Sharif’s administration.

The unemployment rate has reached an all-time high. No such thing as a government exists. For the poor, purchasing meat has become impossible. It is hard to buy vegetables, bread, or meat in the current era; Pakistan has not experienced a situation like this in 72 years.
