Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest warrant presented in court
Lahore, 21st September: Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif’s bail plea was heard in the Lahore High Court.
Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar told the court that we have not been provided with some documents yet, on what grounds the NAB needs his arrest.
Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif has appeared in the court, and NAB’s prosecution team was also present in the courtroom.
Hamza Shehbaz shifted to a hospital
Sharif’s lawyer told the court that the reference against him and others has been filed in the accountability court, now the copies of the reference have also been distributed, but the ground of arrest is not included.
Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer said that earlier he was arrested in a case, at that time NAB did not say anything, and bail was granted, but later NAB issued summons notices.
Shehbaz Sharif wants to go abroad for his treatment
Strict security arrangements have been made on the occasion of Shehbaz Sharif’s court appearance. A large number of PML-N workers have also reached the Lahore High Court to express solidarity with the Leader of the Opposition, National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif.
NAB has asked the court to reject Shehbaz Sharif’s bail application. The NAB said in the court that it had received a complaint against Shehbaz Sharif from the SBP. Sharif had set up nine business units from 2008 to 2018.
