Taking to his Twitter handle on August 18, Anupam Kher shared a viral video of talented kids playing soulful music and claimed that they were from some Indian village.

Anupam Kher wrote in Hindi, “Some kids in India have formed their own band together. This band does not have any modern equipment.”

“And what a tune they have chosen! Of the military band,” said Anupam.

However, the talented Pakistani singer very respectfully responded to Anupam Kher’s tweet and wrote, “Sir @AnupamPKher Thanks for sharing the video I shared a few days back. You say that these talented kids are from Bharat, a humble correction, these kids are in fact from Hunza, Pakistan. I am in touch with them and have sent them all the musical instruments they need.”

It may be noted that earlier on August 11, Shehzad Roy had shared the same video on his Twitter handle and asked his fans and followers to find who those talented kids were so he could reach out to them and provide them with musical instruments.

The video shows a group of children playing music with empty tins, water cans and sticks.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that the video was from Pakistan and was posted on several Facebook pages six years ago.

Some people say that the video was first uploaded in 2014 and that the band is called “Chilimchi”.

However, the video was shared on Facebook by Hunza Folk in 2015, which confirmed to Indian news websites that it is actually from Pakistan.

According to reports from Samaa TV, the tune being played is the patriotic song ‘Ao Bachon Sair Karain Tumko Pakistan ki,’ but what might have confused Anupam Kher is the song ‘Ao Bachho Tumhe Dikhaye’ Indian movie ‘Jagriti’ released in 1954.

Both have a similar tune.
