Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had expressed condolences to Pakistani family killed in Alberta, Canada house fire.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed expressed sympathy to the unfortunate family and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that he was deeply saddened by the unfortunate incident. The whole nation is sad.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed sorrow over the deaths of seven Pakistani-Canadian nationals in the blaze and said he was “deeply saddened” by the fire in Alberta, Canada. The Pakistani High Commissioner to Canada and the Pakistani Consulate in Vancouver are in touch with the affected family. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has issued instructions to provide all possible assistance to the affected family.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Office said that seven people, including children, were killed in a house fire in Alberta. The cause of the accident has not yet been revealed, the Foreign Office spokesman added, adding that they are in touch to find out the cause of the accident. The Pakistani consulate has offered all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
