Ship carrying fireworks exploded in Beirut, 25 killed, wife and daughter of Prime Minister injured

BREAKING – MASSIVE damage reported in Beirut, Lebanon following an incredibly large explosion.

The Lebanese Health Minister, Hamad Hassan, says a ship carrying fireworks exploded in the Beirut Port. At least 25 people killed and wounded over 2,500. Officials say all hospitals there are full.

Casualties and injuries are expected to rise, with many believed buried under the rubble. Lebanese media reporting that the daughter of the Prime Minister, his wife, and a number of his advisers were injured after Beirut explosion.

Beirut Port explosion caused great damage to the official residence of the President of Lebanon, windows of hallways shattered, windows in entrances shattered, doors and windows blown out.
