Indian actress Shraddha Kapoor has defeated Deepika Padukone in the race of getting more number of Instagram followers. With 56.5 million followers, Shraddha is the third most followed Indian on the photo sharing app. The first and second spot are taken by Virat Kohli and Priyanka Chopra, respectively. While Virat Kohli boasts of a Insta following of 82.3 million, Priyanka Chopra has 58 million people following her.

It is interesting to note that after Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in the fake followers on Instagram controversy, Shraddha Kapoor dethroned her from the Number 3 spot. However, Priyanka Chopra, who was also among the celebrities named in the fake followers report, still enjoys the second spot.
