Sikhs and Kashmiris held a joint protest demonstration in front of the Indian Consulate in Houston, USA, to mark the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh massacre and to denounce the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by the Modi-led Indian government.

The protest was organized by Sikh organizations in collaboration with Friends of Kashmir. Demonstrators carried flags of Khalistan, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, and the United States, and raised slogans in support of the creation of Khalistan and the freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Speakers at the event included Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir Ghazala Habib, Sikh leaders Dr. Hardam Singh Azad, Veender Singh, Gurmiel Singh, and Dayan Singh. They strongly condemned the Modi regime for its persecution of Sikhs and Kashmiris and accused the Indian government of exporting state-sponsored terrorism beyond its borders.
