Sindh suspends physical classes for two weeks
Lahore, 4th April: Keeping in view the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Sindh Province, the provincial government has decided to shut down all schools from April 6.
According to Baaghi TV’s report, the Sindh Education Department has decided to close down all physical classes in the educational institutes till grade 8 from April 6.
Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani made the announcement on his Twitter account saying that the classes will remain suspended for 15 days.
محکمہ تعلیم سندھ نے Covid کی صورتحال کے پیش نظر صوبے بھر کے تمام سرکاری و نجی اسکولوں میں آٹھویں جماعت تک میں 6 اپریل بروز منگل سے اگلے پندرہ روز کیلئے Physical کلاسز معطل کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے تاہم بچوں کی تعلیم کو آن لائن، ہوم ورک اور دیگر ذرائع سے جاری رکھا جاسکتا ہے۔

Ghani tweeted, “The Sindh Education Department has decided to suspend Physical Classes for the next fortnight from Tuesday, April 6 in all public and private schools across the province till the eighth grade in view of the situation of Covid. And can be continued by other means.”
The minister clarified that students will continue their education through online classes, homework and other means during this period.
According to Baaghi TV’s reports, educational institutes across Punjab are already closed amid the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the province.
