Smart Lockdown imposed amid increasing coronavirus cases

Lahore, 9th March: A smart lockdown in Lahore, Gujranwala and more areas of Gujarat has been imposed in view of increasing cases of coronavirus in Pakistan.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, a smart lockdown is being implemented in areas where more case of the novel coronavirus are positive.

As per reports, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care has imposed the smart lockdown in 20 areas of Gujranwala, 5 areas of Lahore and 3 more areas of Gujarat.

According to the notification issue, all shopping malls, restaurants, offices (private and government) will remain closed in the lockdown areas.

Transportation of residents of the area will be limited, one person will be able to use one ride in case of extreme need.

Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare has instructed that all types of gatherings will be completely banned.

All medical services, pharmacy, medical store, laboratories, collection points, hospitals and clinics will be open 24 hours a day.

It is being instructed that milk shops, Chicken and Meat / Fish hops and bakeries will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.

Grocery stores, general stores, flour mills, fruit, vegetable shops, ovens and petrol pumps will be open from 9 am to 7 pm.

The purpose of the Smart Lockdown is to limit the movement of people from areas most affected by Corona.
