SOPs formulated to reopen schools in Punjab

Lahore, 4th August 2020: The Punjab Education Department has formulated standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the reopening of schools. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the educational institutes tend to reopen now after the pandemic struck the country and schools had to shut down.

According to the SOPs set by the Punjab Government, the schools will open with low capacity and will operate in two shifts.

Furthermore, only 20 students will be allowed to sit in a class and two students will sit on each disk.

The temperature of each student and staff member will be checked before entering the faculty. It will be mandatory for each student to use sanitizers from their own budget.

AS per the SOPs, there will be no functions, events, or break in the educational institutes.

Earlier, it was reported by Baaghi TV that the Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood had announced to reopen educational institutions from September 15 with strict enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
