Sri Lanka: A Newspaper published a cartoon today depicting Pakistani Extremism in wake of the recent Sialkot incident.

The cartoon shows a man with a beard, clad in classic muslim attire, who holds a crescent moon, the symbol of Islam, and forcefully adds it to the Pakistani flag, while blood covers his hands. This depiction gives the meaning that Pakistani  citizens are religious extremists and that they think that it is alright to resort to violence for the sake of their religion.

This depiction is extremely wrong and presents a bad image of Islam towards the world as Islam is the religion of Peace and Harmony, and violence is prohibited in Islam. Due to the recent dealing of Sialkot’s Factory workers with their foreign manager, people are now defaming Pakistan and ultimately Islam.

This must be put to an end by properly punishing those responsible for this heinous act. The Entire Pakistani nation stands against this act and are praying for justice.
