Srinagar: One soldier killed, five injured in clash between Indian Army and Mujahideen.
According to the reports of Baaghi TV, a fierce clash broke out between the police, CRPF and Mujahideen at the site of Kani Mazar in Noakdal area of the old city of Srinagar in Occupied Kashmir around 2 pm.
During the clash, some youths pelted stones at the security forces in the area. One SOG was killed and five others were injured in the ongoing clash.

The last encounter in Srinagar was in October 2018, when LeT commander Bangro was martyred along with a colleague.
According to reports, a joint team of police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Noakdal. When the joint team of forces reached the suspected location, firing started between the militants and the police.

A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of fire between the forces and the militants. As a precautionary measure, phone and mobile internet services were suspended in Srinagar.
